The Irvine Canaan Christian Community Church is a place that welcomes all children and strives to help them seek to trust in God. Through the great salvation of God's Son, Jesus Christ, the Bible wants us to teach children to understand God's love, grace, and mercy. In Psalm 78:2-7, God said: "I want to speak with parables: I want to tell ancient riddles, what we heard, what we know, and what our ancestors told us. We don’t tell them these things. His descendants concealed it and wanted to tell the future generations about the virtues of Jehovah, his power, and his marvelous deeds. Because he enacted the law in Jacob and set the law in Israel; it was he who commanded our ancestors to pass it on The offspring, so that the offspring that will be born will know; they will also get up and tell their offspring, so that they may look to God and not forget what God has done, but only obey his commands." The New Testament of the Bible, Matthew 18:5, Jesus said: “Anyone who receives a childlike this in my name receives me.”

迦南儿童部谨上
恳请各位组长在组内宣传、提醒家长：
1. 还没有为儿童注册的家庭，请务必在一月末之前抓紧完成注册！二月中旬，教会儿童部（CKFM）新的电脑系统将开始使用。届时没有注册的儿童，将无法进入CKFM的教室。
2. 请各位家长了解并提醒孩子：CKFM是儿童教育部门，不是看护部门。孩子们在周间学校如何行为，在教会也当如何行为！
3. CKFM的绝大多数同工都是志愿者，他们花费很多时间准备课程内容，无偿提供儿童教育。恳请家长给予各位老师应有的尊重，在家中也应提醒孩子们当尊重老师。CKFM与中文堂同步进行主日崇拜和主日学，除非特殊情况，11:30之前请不要接孩子。
4. 如果您的孩子有报名参加儿童诗班，请提醒孩子遵守老师的指挥。
5. CKFM非常缺乏资源，包括老师、助教等等。所以，我们需要家长一起参与同工。如果您有被安排在儿童部服事，请按时就位。如有特殊情况不能不能参与服事，请提前与儿童部主任Elizabeth 、儿童部执事梁兆颜弟兄联络、说明情况！
